Conducted one-on-one interviews with 10-15 users

who had recently gone through the house-hunting

process to understand their challenges, needs, and

preferences. Tested current real estate platforms

like property pro, and Jiji with users to observe how

they navigate the site, how easily they find the

information they need, and whether virtual tours,

neighborhood insights, and map features would

improve their experience. Additionally, carried out

a competitive analysis to analyze their features,

strengths, and weaknesses.

Solution 1

Implemented virtual tours and 3D floor plans for

properties listed online. This would allow potential

renters or buyers to explore homes remotely, saving

time and offering a more detailed view of the

property. Virtual tours reduce the need for

multiple in-person visits, helping users make more

informed decisions from the comfort of their homes

Solution 2

Provided comprehensive neighborhood insights

such as safety ratings, to schools, transport options,

amenities, and local demographics. Integrating this

data with Google Maps will allow users to visually

explore the area surrounding a property. This

feature helps users assess the suitability of the

location based on their preferences, enhancing the

decision-making process

Created a platform with strict verification processes

for agents and listings to minimize the risk of scams.

This could include agent background checks,

property verification, and user reviews. Adding

features like secure payment options and direct

messaging between buyers and agents within the

platform would also help ensure safe, trustworthy

transactions
